Music Foundation for Restoration of the Heart
~Donation for Delivering Music to the Area Stricken by the Disaster~
First of all, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to the victims of the massive earthquake and tsunami that hit northeastern part of Japan in March and their families. We also would like to send our heartfelt sympathy to those who are still suffering.
Associations, companies and halls related to classical music activities have gathered together to find ways to help and support the people who are suffering. And, we have come to a conclusion that music is what can give them comfort and support their motivation for the tough reconstruction work, and with the strong will to deliver such music, many musicians have visited the site to encourage the people there already.
In order to help the activities of such musicians visiting the affected areas, we have set up a foundation named “Music Foundation for Restoration of the Heart” that will support their performing activities for a year from the day of the disaster. We would like to ask you to give us your kind understanding and cooperation to this matter.
